Terms & Agreements

Booking

To reserve your appointment date and time, a 50% non-refundable payment is needed at the time of booking. You have the option of paying for your session deposit with Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Without a deposit, appointments could fail to be kept and might even be canceled. When making a reservation, a deposit must be paid. There is a 24-hour grace period. If a deposit is not received within 24 hours of scheduling an appointment, it may not be honored, and the appointment may be canceled. All of the ShotByHBK policies are accepted upon payment of the deposit.

ShotByHBK is granted FULL RIGHTS to any photographs shot as part of collaborations and creative endeavors that are booked without the expectation of financial compensation.

Payment

Payment for sessions must be made in full via Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay either before the shoot date or right away following the shoot. I do not take checks. If a client is more than 15 minutes late for a session, there will be a $20 extra charge. Sessions won't be kept past their scheduled ends to accommodate tardy clients.

Reimbursement

Parking, valet, gas, Uber or Lyft, rental cars, airline fees, entertainment or club tickets, hotel/Airbnb fees, studio fees, and any luxurious restaurant bill are some of the expenses that the client may be liable for. Additionally, the client will be liable for the photographer's airfare and any additional lodgings made prior to the photographer's arrival (if necessary).

Cancellation

The deposit paid to hold the shoot date will be retained by the photographer as a cancellation fee in the event that the client cancels for any reason prior to the shoot date. Email must be used to cancel in writing. As long as the new date is available and falls within three months of the original event date, I will try our best to fulfill the client's request to change the shoot date. The original contract will be canceled and subject to the cancellation clause if I am unavailable for the new date.

If necessary, the client must contact 72 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment to reschedule at a convenient time and day.

Ownership of work

With the exception of the right to utilize the work for self-promotion, such as inclusion in an online portfolio or showcase, the photographer hereby transfers to the client all rights to the proof and final pictures, title, and any interest in the work.

Confidential / Privacy

Without the discloser's prior written authorization, any information provided by one party to the other marked as "Confidential" may only be used for the purposes of this agreement. Information that is freely accessible to the public or that the receiver already has in-depth knowledge of or has independently developed is not covered by this. Any materials containing confidential information must be returned to the Client by the photographer after the contract is over. Following the expiration of this agreement, confidentiality responsibilities continue.
